Tina Arend, Co-Team Lead, SAAFE Circle
I am involved with SAAFE Circle for the opportunity to help another feel safe and realize they are not alone on this journey of deeper understanding and healing. To witness the incredible courage, authenticity and personal growth of another is a gift from God that touches the soul. We all have unique stories to share and through our common threads, we are all beloved.
Deanna Worden, Co-Team Lead, SAAFE Circle
I am involved in SAAFE Circle because, as a sexually abused child, it seemed like no one ever heard my cries or would help me. Growing up, I learned to keep everything inside, hidden away. With God's help, I was able to break the chains and learn how wonderful life can be. I want this for other sexually abused women. I want them to know that their cries are heard.
